The illegal immigrants come here and have childeren that in turn become United States Citizens and this should be outlawed, because the illegal immigrant has already committed a felony by being here undocumented and therefore there children should not have the privilege to become United States citizens, so that there parents can collect Section 8, Food Stamps and all other sorts of freebies, while usually the husband (also illegal) works without any kind of documents and lives at that place of residence where his children reside. The illegal immigration problem is so out of hand that already in 1987 and 1988 I met students from India and Vietnam at my University in Boston who would openly laugh at our system and tell me that all they had to do is go to another Social Security Office say they lost their Social Security card and with a little luck would receive a replacement card that would be blank like a United States Citizen has, instead of their card saying "Must present INS documentations", or something similar. We are being held by illegal immigrants as NAIVE, IGNORANT and simply STUPID. The worst part is that if we try to confront illegal aliens they will get aggressive, as if we have no right to even intervene in the matter. Though we as United States born citizens have every right to find out who is an illegal immigrant or not, as they do take our jobs from us, under cut are wages and are turning our great nation into a nation that most of them came from, which is misery and a third world disaster. We as United States citizens need to wake up and smell the coffee, there is no need for an illegal immigrant to be here and certainly there is absolutely no excuse for them. An illegal alien will say "I do the jobs Americans don't want to do", that's bolognie if illegal aliens were not doing these jobs, then the employers would have to pay United States ciitizens the true wages that we deserve to make in the first place. So, this is no excuse there are plenty of American ready and willing to do these jobs, though the illegal aliens along with the unethical employers are ruining are way of life in this great country because of GREED. Illegal aliens will say "we are just here to work and that's it", well that's not it they are "Illegal aliens" period and that means they are a FELON. So, no matter what creative excuse an illegal alien comes up with to try to stay here and mooch off of us, at the end of the day they are exaclty that "Illegal aliens" and that means that they already committed a felony and have disrespected are laws, people and are country. Illegal aliens are laughing at are entire system and are just roaming freely through the streets without anyone checking up on them. Let's see what would happen if we tried to do the same if we went to their countries. We sure as hell wouldn't receive a big welcome and even less mooch off their social welfare system. Most European countries' police are allowed to check their citizens identification cards at random and that means for their legal status as well and the United States Government should implant the same type of system over here where the police force like in Europe except in England (as we have British Common law) allows them to have the power to check the legal status of any person walking the streets anywehere in the United States. As United States Citizens we have to realize that the Illegal alien situation is not just about employing pizzeria workers or farm help and that's it. No, Illegal aliens pose a greater threat to our National Security than most Americans would like to believe. Illegal aliens are destroying our way of life and eating up our taxes with welfare, while working at the same time and then sending our United States Dollars back to their ruined economies. The Illegal Immigration problem is no joke and should not be minimized as most of the Illegals would like us to do in our naive ways. We need to write to our Local, State and Federal Government and complain about this problem so that something is really done about it and not just receive a lot of emtpy promises. Remember would an Illegal Immigrant treat you the same in his/her country the answer is NO. Also, we don't even know which Illegal Immigrant is a criminal or not, because no one even thought about checking that situation out. But will it? My prediction is that at least in one arena of public life -- higher education -- this is not going to happen anytime soon. Having declared "diversity" as beneficial to the education of every American college student(albeit without any proof), and having linked diversity to "excellence" (once again without proof), academe has been successful in establishing "diversity" as the indisputable rationale for pursuing race preferential hiring and admission policies. Academia is virtually blind to the fact that only "colorblind" opportunity can result in "equal" opportunity, and that giving preferences to some inevitably leads to disadvantages for others. This illogical and discriminatory mindset will not evaporate as a result of Obama's ascent to the presidency. In fact, this educator predicts that the presence of Obama in the White House will empower and entrench the "preference movement" even further. Contemporary higher education has been invested in "diversity" and "white guilt" for too long and too much to let it go at this historical juncture. The only hope to achieve race-neutral policies in higher education and in public employment in general -- thus bringing about genuine equality for Americans of all backgrounds -- is through through the state-by-state ballot initiative process. The American Civil Rights Institute, under the courageous leadership of Ward Connerly, and all fair-minded Americans have their work cut out for them.
