About the Blog

This is the official blog of Sacramento-based American Civil Rights Institute (ACRI), a nationally recognized civil rights organization created to educate the public about racial and gender preferences. ACRI was established by Ward Connerly and Dusty Rhodes. This blog will chronicle ACRI’s efforts to end preferences in government hiring, contracting, and admissions, and perhaps shame states into treating Americans as individuals, equal before the law.

La Shawn BarberMessage from the blogger, La Shawn Barber:

Not only am I passionate about putting government out of the skin color business, as someone who “benefited” from race preferences, I know the damage and stigma they leave behind. Contact me at lashawnbarber [at] gmail.com.
